Not to be confused with the later "Summer Challenge" game, this came from Epyx and can be considered a "sequel" to the classic Summer Games. It had many things ahead of it's time, most notably precalculation of 3D elements that made for some FAST 3D enhancements, even on a 4.77MHz PC! The intro sequence, for example, races around a 3D stadium after a 4 second pause; really slick. |
